I grew up on the thinking man’s Jersey Shore, subsisting on PB&J sandwiches and afternoons mesmerized by Bob Ross. Paintings of my favorite X-Men forever lay scattershot around the house.
Majoring in communications at Loyola University in Maryland, I discovered a love of Baltimore’s Inner Harbor, the city’s fall air– and rediscovered my young love of the arts through design.
After graduation I polished up at the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan and took internships in the city before moving cross-country to Los Angeles. It was personally important for me to set out on my own, to strike out against that temptation to stay permanently pressed up against east-coast shores.
While in Los Angeles I gained strong design footing in e-commerce at JustFab (and surfed, and ran, and drove– a lot). In 2011, New York called me homeward, and I spent the next 4 years executing the web design for Donald J Pliner, and all graphic design for fashion brand Yosi Samra.
I completed the UX Design Immersive at General Assembly in May 2016. In my most recent role, I was Product Designer for PowerForward by Coach K.
